TEN DAYS IN · A CLARITY REPORT
Know your options before you need them
Ten days in your business. An outside eye, ear and heart on what you've built, and the roads it leaves open to you.
Four seesaws every owner rides.
Predictability / Agility
Systems make a business predictable, and every coach will tell you that's how you scale. But the more fixed your way of working, the harder it is to bend when an unexpected opportunity walks in.
Recurring Work / New Capabilities
Retainers and fixed contracts are great for cash flow, and buyers love them. But they can keep your team doing the same things well for years, while the market moves on.
Efficiency / Discovery
An efficient business wastes nothing: every hour billed, every process tight. Squeeze out all the slack, though, and you squeeze out the room to find what's next.
IP / Generic Frameworks
Your own way of working is what a buyer can actually own. But clients often want the frameworks they already know, and borrowing them makes you easier to hire.

FAQs

Ten Days In is a business diagnostic by MarLi Business Advisory. It starts with a kickoff session with the owner, followed by ten consecutive working days inside the business, observing how it really runs and talking with the people who run it. About two weeks later, the owner receives a State of the Business report and a sharing session: an honest read of what the business is built on, and the options open to it.
-

Less than you'd think. MarLi observes the business as it runs, and most of your team will spend around two hours with us in total.
-
Uniterrupted time for the kickoff, a list of who's involved, and an introduction to your team. We handle the rest.
-
Completely. We're happy to sign an NDA before we start. The read looks at your business and your teams, never at individuals. Nobody will be named in the report.
-
No. The State Of The Business report works as a diagnostic tool that reflects how your business holds up to growth, or exit. It gives you clarity on where to focus on in order for your business to build value, whatever you are planning for it next.
-
Ten Days In is the starting point. It builds the structure that lets you grow, scale or exit well, and shows you what moves your value up or down. If you'd like a number afterwards, we can arrange a valuation with a specialist.
-
Up to you. Take the read and run, or I pace you for three months, then step off.
